I use two plugins, mainly. And List Category Posts which I’ve found extremely useful to use for actual table of contents pages. I just didn’t like how Wordpress viewed category pages by default, and this helped a lot. Plus, you can organize in what order they show up. About an hour had passed. Wow, that TOC thing is GREAT! I just got hold of Custom post limits which allows you to show, say, one or two chapters on your initial page, but more on searches, archives, etc. Handy for feeds and includes elsewhere. And for keeping a tidy front page while allowing unfettered browing around. ![]() |
