Addergoole

Tales of MU
Both are set in magical schools with a strong focus on relationships, ownership, love and lust. Addergoole is perhaps a little darker and has a more varied range of high school characters, all of which have magic in some way; Tales of MU is set in a university and has a mixture of magical and human students.

Eastridge Academy - School for Adventurers (Book 1)
Both of these stories are about schools, although one is based more in 'real-life', which the other is purely fantasy. I would say that both were of similar quality.

Dark and mystical, with an eye for deeper consequences, both of these series will delight genre readers who like a little more going on beneath the surface.
