Synopsis

"A gritty, surrealistic retelling of the Greek myth of Mercury and Lara…"

Petra is a young man who lives in a crime-ridden city. He has been caring for his two younger siblings since the death of their mother by working as a “paper-boy” delivering packages to various local criminals. He doesn’t particularly like the job, but the pay is better than what he would make working a legal minimum-wage job, so he does it because he swore long ago that he would never sell his body as he has saw many others do. For a while, things were going very well for him and his younger brother and sister. Then, his sister got sick and the doctor’s bills started piling up, and now the local bad-nasties have been lurking about, wanting rent money that he currently doesn’t have thanks to a job gone bad. They say when it rains it pours...
