Synopsis
"Not your every day ghost story."
Elizabeth returns to RoYds; an Agency that investigates the paranormal. A bit rich of RoYds really, especially when they have several ghosts and a pair of fallen angels on their staff. Then again, Whituth is no ordinary town, nor Refuge of Delayed Souls your every day ghost story.

"A slow chill, so close to the reality we know." permalink
We are whipped back and forth through time in this often gripping tale. 'Chilling' would be another appropriate word.
The characters are clear and each one's history is revealed in blinding flashes at intense moments in their lives. For all this action, I never found myself lost and there are just enough slower scenes to allow me to catch my breath.

Refuge of Delayed Souls fits squarely into the Paranormal Fantasy Genre and is an enjoyable read.
