Synopsis

"Book Two in Engines of Creation Series"

It’s been a month since the town of Dunsmith, British Columbia mysteriously appeared in the Disputed Lands of the world of Eiden Myr. Now, in the aftermath of the battle against the forces of Vector, the town finds they have a new responsibility. They need to form a nation, The New Canadian Territories, out of the remnants of the Disputed Lands in order to gain a foothold within the Pactlands. As if bandits and pirates weren’t bad enough, the town also finds they must enter into talks with the Emperor of Vector in order to ensure there’s no repeat performance of the Battle of Crown Square, and win over the local Freeman villages and races of the lands.

But beneath the surface, a dark, ancient force begins to inch ever closer to the town and its people, guiding its minions from behind the veil. It’s up to the people of Dunsmith to uncover the ancient secrets that might reveal the truth and shed light upon the High Magus Council, and who they really are.
