Synopsis
"Wherein [Humanity] deals with the sniffles, competitive moth-racing, and how to broaden their own horizons."
Humanity has settled into their first mixed-species colony, and things have gone well!
Well. After the initial rebuilding.
Point being, the mixing of cultures is a boon to all involved, and exciting times are on the horizon. However, in the zeal to accelerate those changes, sometimes people make rash decisions that domino out into unknown and uncontrollable consequences.
This story is an object lesson in prudence.
