Dan Devallah. The Champions.

One is a fool and a drunkard who only wanted to rescue a donkey. The other is a madman who argues with the voice in his head and is determined to take over the criminal underworld. Together they might just be enough to save a city.

As each Champion finds themselves pulled towards mankind's last city they learn that things are not quite right within the capital. Riots on the streets and strange figures in the palace could lead to the city's destruction even before the real enemy can make itself known.

Despite their desire to be anything but heroes, fate will force the first of our Champions down a path of heroism or death. Likely both. For the Deck has chosen and, struggle as they might, the destiny of a Devallah is set. They will save the city or mankind’s fall will come about long before the remaining Champions can be found.
