Synopsis

"The trap has been set"

There’s a hole inside of Casey Way.

He hasn’t slept in twenty years. When he does he sees his murdered father and strangers from missing persons fliers with boxes cut into their chests. Casey lives a tiny life in a tiny apartment with his boyfriend Joel and a garden of Venus Flytraps that remind him of being happy, before his father, the boxes, and the hole inside of him that makes him dream. After a trip with his step-sister Mariska to their childhood home, on the twentieth anniversary of his father’s murder, something gets out. Something ugly and alien and yet wholly, utterly familiar to Casey. It’s made of his fragmented memories and broken dreams, masquerading in stolen faces. It consumes people, devouring the secrets they hide under clothes and in their skin, and it’s coming for Casey, one night at a time.
