"Suits. Cookies. Guns. (tagline says it all)"

Rating: 9 / 10

This is the first book in the Mirrorverse, a very original and well-founded ‘verse. In this book our asocial little hacker girl Stef (Spyder) is being introduced with the Agency and Solstice, in a rather harsh way. The ending of this book, though very surprising, is just amazing. What happens in between I can’t really say much without spoiling… but trust me when I say it’s rather exciting.

In any case, it’s a big Mirrorverse, and it never gets boring. In the next books, more and more characters are introduced and elaborated upon. A very special character here is Taylor (an agent who ... has some severe issues).

At this moment, there are 3 completed books and the 4th is already running (It should also be noted that book 4 has a different main character). The author aims at 2 books per year at this moment, and it’s updates are fairly frequent, with the occasional update marathon (usually at the end of a book).

The author is very responsive to comments, and answers all but the big spoiler questions, however, mostly, you walk away with more questions than you started. Because the author is so active, in the forums of the site, there’s lotsa information on what books are planned and what it’ll be about, and stuff like that…

I’m not kidding when I say you really should read this. It’s reads so good, you do not want to stop reading. There are a lot of suits, guns, but I can promise you there’ll be cookies… lotsa cookies.
