It has been a millennia since the Fracturing, and humanity, tenacious as always, have managed to bounce back. By leaps and bounds have understanding of physical phenomena progressed, and with that came new ways of applying one’s will to warp reality to one’s wishes or excavate old ruins. Every week, new magics are explored, old texts are recovered. What was thought to be once impossible are now within the realm of reality.

Necessary, for threats are on the rise. Some from progress, some from a past long gone. Some human or once so, some beastly, and some, that the world barely even understands. And of course, there’s the major one, the entire onus behind the titular quest.

'Quest' is a web serial documenting the adventures of a... scumbag trying to survive in a world where magic, in all its confusing shapes and forms, exists. In a world slowly going to hell, a world where everything is a threat. People, monsters, spirits. Unspeakable horrors. Locations. Concepts.

This scumbag cheats. He lies. He steals. He is one amongst many, only human in the face of adversity.
