"Pleasantly Scary"

I sat down looking for something to read, and was pleasantly surprised to find this novel. Although I’m generally not really into the mystery genre, it was very interesting and pulled me in with the code (which I couldn’t break, and had to wait until the protagonist did it for me).

I didn’t like that there was no way to comment, and that the author had set it up so that you had to email her with feedback. Some of the links between chapters, especially the later ones, were broken. Although it is stated that the chapters were being edited, I still found some typos in the earlier chapters.

Overall, it is a good novel, only took me about 2 hours to read in one sitting. Well worth the time, and I’m hoping that the author brings out a sequel.
