Matt Bisbee is the leader of the Revere High School football team. Revere, MA is a tough, urban setting with a strong criminal element. Matt’s avoided trouble his whole life in hopes of going to college and a better future, but when he and two of his teammates defend a favorite teacher who has crossed the wrong man Matt makes a terrifying decision. Matt kills the son of a local mobster, and when the gangsters come for revenge Matt and his friends spend the rest of their ‘senior year’ not thinking about prom and college but hoping just to stay alive.
